About Jutic
Jutic: Not related to the Jutean languages.
Jutic's vocabulary is an a priori, but it's morphology is somewhat similar to the semitic languages. Each word comes from a triconsonantal root, which is put into a vowel stencil. These are then conjugated or declined until kingdom come. In less formal contexts, the words can get larger, and absorb more of the sentence into it.
An example of this is the line from Elvis' song: "I can't help falling in love with you". In the Jutic version, this line is read as "Iveltahėllahun kobuse" but can be shortened to "Ikeveltahėllahun". This takes the root for "Love" which is VLT. This is then put into the stencil for transitive verbs, making "Velt". This is conjugated to the present tense, "Velta". It is then given a subject prefix that determines person and number, this one is the first person singular, "Ivelta". Inbetween the subject and root goes an object prefix for the second person singular, "Ikevelta". So far, we have "Ikevelta" which translates to "I love you". Using these prefixes denotes informality. Next, a suffix is added meaning "stop", Ikeveltahėl. Then another meaning "to be able to", "Ikeveltahėllah". Lastly, a suffix is used to negate the meaning of the word, "Ikeveltahėllahun" which can be summarized as "I-You-love-stop-can-not", which translates directly as "I cant stop loving you", which gives the meaning of Elvis' original line of "I can't help falling in love with you".
There some loan words from Spanish and Arabic, which makes sense considering that the language is spoken by a racial minority in the Strait of Gibraltar. The Hiwek people have a religion, called "Dim", which was founded by Rabėc Gisnė, and has been persecuted throughout history, as it is located just between the Islamic and Catholic world.
