About Djenko (Archaic) **I have a document with rules about the language that I might upload in some form here later
**stuff to do: PhoMo, fix grammar tables, fix conscript font, fix langdesc

- A syllabary with its own conscript (which I need to fix in at some point).
- Script originally loosely based off Hangul but evolved to something more blockish.
- affixes to generate verbs, adjectives, adverbs, etc.
- (probably) SVO sentence strucure.
- (probably) adj-noun word order.
- no conjugations or declensions
- "hen" is a perfect particle: hen-present = perfect; hen-past = pluperfect; hen-future = future perfect.
- I'll clean this up later, still WIP, but thank you guys for checking it out as it stands though!...
- more affixes to follow, in separate doc, may update later

Syllable StructureSyllable structure is C(L)V(N) where C is any consonant sound, L is /j/ or /w/, V is any vowel sound or diphthong, and N is an optional nasal coda.

Example syllables: zo /zo/; qye /ɣje/; maan /maːn/; fwon /fwon/

Syllable-final /n/ has allophones of /m/ before labials and /ŋ/ before velars.

Due to the way I set this up, syllables such as "twei" or "fyuu" are not possible. "twei" would be transcribed as either "twe'i" or "tu'ei", and "fyuu" would be transcribed as either "fyu'u" or "fi'uu" (traditionally the former for both). Either way, the first set would be pronounced /twei/ and the second set /fjuː/ as if the <'> (null consonant for syllabic consistency) wasn't there.
Stress information<to be decided>

- stress on first syllable most of the time
- long vowels usually take priority, then non-central vowels (/a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, /u/)
- stress in loanwords usually matches stress in the language the loanword is taken from

more as I decide....
Other<'> acts much like syllable-initial ng in Hangul.

Vowels can be a, e, i, o, u, or any combination of two. Duplicate vowels turn the vowels long /aa/ => /aː/. <i> before a vowel turns to /j/ and is written as <y> - <ia> /ia/ => <ya> /ja/. <u> before a vowel turns to /w/ and is written as <w> - <ua> /ua/ => <wa> /wa/. Long vowels override pre-palatalized or pre-labialized vowels - <uu> is written as <uu>, not <wu>, and pronounced /uː/, not /wu/.

Consonant spelling matches IPA except:
<c> as /ts/
<ch> as /tʃ/
<j> as /dz/
<jh> as /dʒ/
<q> as /ɣ/
<sh> as /ʃ/
<y> as /j/
<zh> as /ʒ/
<'> as a null consonant

Vowel spelling matches IPA and above vowel rules except:
<ae> as /ə/; also can act as a null vowel in loanwords (for syllabic consistency)
<ao> as /ɨ/
<ea> as /ɛ/
<eo> as /ɪ/
<oa> as /ɔ/
<oe> as /ʊ/

Long versions of these six vowels are virtually exclusively in loanwords, and even then are extremely rare.
