About Adhmana How Admana Came to Be

Ithkuil is an information-dense englang.
toki pona is a minimalistic artlang.
When I first got into conlanging around 2019, these two fundamentally different languages fascinated me.

One night I thought to myself, "What if I created a language with the information capacity of Ithkuil, but the phonological inventory of toki pona?"

Then I thought, "What if I did that, but only using one vowel?"

It was too stupid not to try.

Phonology

Adhmana has a highly restrictive vowel harmony system. There is one vowel: /a/.

It's important to note that since the choice of vowel carries no phonemic information, one can choose /a/ to be any vowel they please. I personally prefer an open vowel because I find it more comfortable to pronounce the contour tones. For the purposes of ConWorkShop, I have chosen /a/ to have its IPA value.

Long middle- /aa/
Long low- /a̲a̲/

From these, 4 contours tones exist:
Rising- /á/

Peaking- /â/

The initial tone is not important for the contours; the primary indicator is motion.
