About Aelcorxer
Varsbꜷl Arasā
Aelcorxer, natively; Ālkorxer, is a language native to the region of planet Ꜷrka known as 'The Grand Ocran', a massive archipelago along the planet's equator. It belongs to the Ocraudavian language family- the predominant family in the island chain. Its native region; Aelcorx, is located in the south-west of Archipelago's largest island- the aptly named Great Isle. Aelcorx was a remote backwater in the great isle for most of the Archipelago's recorded history; until the Calamity of Sagorsa, in 1 B.H, after which it gradually gained regional prominence.
After its independence from the Takran Empire in 1311 A.H, the meteoric rise of the Aelcorxer Kingdom would begin- culminating in the Proclamation of the Third Ocraudavian Empire in the late 18th Century, with Aelcorx at the helm of it all.
With the prosperity of its Empire backing it, Aelcorxer is a language with prestige like no other; spoken broadly within and without the Empire's vast reaches.
With-out Ocraudavia, Aelcorxer is estimated to be spoken by about fifty-six million souls more.

Aelcorxer has- in one way or another- been in the works since late 2017, only having gotten serious in 2020, as a means to kill time during the pandemic. It is my first ever conlang, and I genuinely want to make it as good as it can be. It has a script, but I'm not font-savvy enough to have it show here.
FEATURES
* Aelcorxer is a fusional language
* Aelcorxer is gendered in M/F/N

* Aelcorxer has two dedicated conditional tenses, each encompassing a wide array of expressions
* Aelcorxer's infinitives are inflected by person

[edit] [view] Eelgogzei (Low Aelcorxer)Dialect of Standard High Aelcorxer spoken in Aelcorx's rural countryside among the lower castes, considered uncouth and improper by the city folk and the landed nobility. It drops much of it's 'more sophisticated' sister's complex grammar and abundant phonemes, but instead gains phonemic vowel length and harmony to compensate.
