About Kolyma Ainu
Kolyma Ainu, also known as Anyu, is a language of the Ainu family, spoken by maybe a couple hundred people at most, primarily elderly, in northern Khabarovsk Krai and southern Magadan Oblast, although it used to be spoken more extensively across the northern Sea of Okhotsk region. Due to centuries of language contact, it has taken a lot of phonological influence from Evenki and Yukaghir, and later on from Russian. Grammatically it is most influenced by Evenki and Yakut, and it has large strata of loanwords from all four of those languages.
