About Alfian
(WIP conscript, to be changed!.) -changed lang code from LJO to ALIF, so some things were lost like votes and so on.
The Alf/Low are a peoples that hail from Andvail, their main professions are fishing & farming; exiled for their ideologies and stoic nature.
The main races that make of the Alf and Lows are the Alwi, a race known for their long life-spans, and the horns that jut out from their skulls. Alongside them are the h'Eusna, spirits who possess inanimate objects; though they cannot speak, they use Alfian as a written language for intercommunication.
Alfian's word-order is O2VO1S, though the less formal, the more free-flow.
Alfian is a Satellite-Framing language.
Alfian does not have phrasal verbs: as english possesses.
Alfian, depending on dialect, can be quite agglutinative. (Standard dialects tend to be more Analytic)
Alfian is considered a language of the low-man, the poor, though once upon a time, it was the language of class and education, but after their ideologies no longer matched that of the common folk and royalty, they were set out to exile, where they largely remain poor and homeless, taking up fishing and other jobs to feed themselves.
The people that still speak the language predominately live near the coast of Andvail and Ky Ygodh.
The language is the daughter language of Eskrian, and is closely related to Takayann.
The Alfs often times must trade with fremd peoples, thus leading in outside influences.
The Mhidi people contribute most of the influence, due to them abiding on the rivers, and conversing and settling down with the Alf populations.
The East-Eskrians, though limited with contact, still have loose influences on the language due to their proximity: Though often times, Alfs will intentionally avoid using East-Eskrian vocabulary
