About Alantish Alantish is the language spoken by the peoples of Alantīs, located in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Argentina and Chile. The origin of Atlantish is when in, about 500 BC, Atlantis was a great island state in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The leaders of this state planned on conquering the rest of the world with their advanced technology. But seemingly out of nowhere a devastating storm floods Atlantis and buries it under the sea. A handful of people, about five families, survived the disaster and sailed all the way to the Pacific Ocean and settled on a new continent, which they named Alantīs, The five families were peasants on old Atlantis and all had varying accents and understandings of the language. Over thousands of years they developed their own language and culture, and discovered great powers they called Dèxa. These powers helped them with many things, such as, transportation, manipulation, offense, defense, and assistance. The strongest of these powers were called Sādèxa, and they were deemed too powerful for the people, who now call themselves Alanèsh, to wield freely. Thus, they were given to the Fathers of the five families.

[edit] [view] Jiwa Alantèshè (Classical Alantish)The original dialect of Alantish. Named Jiwa Alantèshè, or High Alantish by it's speakers. It's speakers see it as the purest form of Atlantish, not as clumsy or uncivilized as the Spekronan dialect.
[edit] [view] Spekrōnèn (Spekronan)This dialect of Alantish is not that much different than the Classical Atlantish dialect, other than the vowels are noticeably longer and [o] and [u] and pronounced [ɤ] and [ɯ]
