About Amiru Amiru is spoken in the southwest of the fictional contentinent of Onderthaurn (Oterata) by about 1.3 million people. It was brought by the Amiru invaders, who successfully conquered the southern two-thirds of the continent through a combination of military force and diplomacy. It has a number of features separating itself from its Onderthaurnan neighbours.

The flag is that of the House of Amiru. The House of Amiru at Sashomikweha (Tlisashomikweha Amiru Ememiwiyo) controls almost all of the Amiru-speaking region of Onderthaurn. The House of Amiru at Ruthnell (Tlirutanila Amiru Ememiwiyo) are the descendants of the Amiru conquerors and rule the entire country, and typically use the flag of Onderthaurn itself.
