Old Cannasacian was a language spoken in Southern Equestria from 1000 BC to 1200 AD where it developed into Middle Cannasacian. Its desendant is
Cannasacian / South Equestrian. Old Cannasacian is the liturgical language of the pony religion of Bahasaf.

The Old Cannasacian Script is an Alphasyllabary/Abugida written Top to Bottom, Left to Right.
Originally, Old Cannasacian used the Cannasacian Script, When the Hegamonians (Romans) arrived, a law was created that all Cannasacian languages must be written in the Hegamonian Script (Latin Alphabet). When the Equus Protectorate gained independence from Imperium, it was made only optional to write Cannasacian in the Hegamonian Alphabet.
