About Colese Colese is one of Edievian's sister languages, spoken in modern-day Bulgaria. Unlike Edievian, Colese ended up liking the Greeks and the language was overwhelmed with Grecian loanwords, along with Latin and Slavic ones.

Lenition was rampant in the language's evolution, with a mass amount of plosives turning into fricatives in a variety of environments. Gemination and palatalization stopped this fricativization, in contrast to Edievian, where palatalization was a large factor in the consonant system.

Grammatically, it is a VSO language with adjectives following nouns. Verbs can take many suffxes and prefixes for mood, polarity, and voice. Nouns come in singular and plural. and like Edievian, ablaut signifies the singular/plural distinction.
