About Plattdytch Plattdytch is a Low German dialect that gave rise to  Town Speech, Plattdytch is mutually intelligible with  Town Speech, but there are several differences between Plattdytch and  Town Speech:

- word: Plattdytch tends to use much more Germanic-origin words compared to  Town Speech.
- writing: Plattdytch uses a Latin-based script;  Town Speech uses a writing system derived from Japanese.
- ethnicity: Plattdytch speakers are genetically European as expected by the language;  Town Speech speakers are genetically East Asian
