About Élouvien
A Slavic language spoken in southern Ariège and Aude departments in the Pyrenees of southern France. As you might imagine, it has become pretty different from the other Slavic languages.
Itpreserves totally ditched case (losing most unstressed final vowels kinda does that) and has largely restructured along the line of Languedocien, Gascon, and Catalan, each of whose territory it borders. In modern times, it has been heavily influenced by French, and is highly endangered, being spoken in a rural region by mainly elderly speakers.
The name is cognate with Slovene, by the way.
