About Nerebzunueye
Nerebzunueye refers to both the region in southwestern Etoe as well as the language in which it is spoken. It is a post-Hakkanic language and derives from the Hakkanic dialect, Naxapsonowaye. It belongs to the proposed Proto-Yeli-Hakkan language family.
Inspiration
Nerebzunueye, or Emterezka as it was originally called, is a daughter language of Hakkan, as is the Sloy language, but Nerebzunueye is primarily inspired off of Portuguese specifically, phonologically speaking. As well as the English language to some extent. It is a stress-timed language, meaning that some vowels are elided through fast speech. It is not a pro-drop languge, unlike Classical Hakkan and the Modern Sloy languages. Morphosyntactically speaking, it is based off most of the modern Western European languages, such as English, Spanish or Portuguese, wherein most of the words are fusional, and to some extent synthetic such as to indicate plural number. Nerebzunueye, however, employs no gender classes in its morphosyntactic agreement unlike Spanish and Portuguese.
