About Classical Enigentian Classical Enigentian, also known simply as Enigentian (Enigentilaim Enigentilåim, /ˈe̞nige̞nt̪ilaɪ̯m/), is a Tuilohic language of the Athru-Kherzomian language family.

It is an infleced language with two classes (hard and soft) for nouns and verbs. Nouns, adjectives and pronouns have seven noun cases (nominative, accusative, genitive, lative, ablative, abessive and instrumental). The verbs have five tense and aspect combinations in the indicative mood (present imperfective, present continuous, past perfect, past habitual and simple future) and four more grammatically tense-less constructions (prospective, desirative, optative and imperative), although some do imply tense (see article for more info).

It is head initial and generally SVO, but some constructions (such as with "to be" or "to have") are SOV.

When compared to other Athrutian languages, it is much more conservative with its features – keeping the dual number, using evidentiality markers or still being mostly SVO instead of SOV.

The language is written in Enigentian Inemre (Inemre Enigentilaem Inemre Enigentilåem, /ˈine̞mre̞ ˈe̞nige̞nt̪ilɑe̞m/), which ultimatelly originate in Renaghatic hieroglyphs, which may have been inspired by or derived from Ashbarni writing.

Because of the size and influence of the Enigentian Empire, it has since become the lingua franca of most of the educated world of Cutlatul, as well as being the and main language of communication between ileamuret and humans (and also the first language spoken by two different species).
