About Elipa

Elipa is the main language spoken in Eliposi (seen in the light yellow colour on the map to the left). Modern Elipa began to form around 1600AD from Middle Elipa, which was ultimately from
Unknown [XES]. It's closest living relative is the
Böwal language which began to emerge around the same time from the same parent variant.
The language features transitive-only verbs, and intransitive verbjectives; personal conjugation and an array of verbal prefixes; noun-particle incorporation, and many other things. The language is primarily VSO, with some sentences taking on OVS order.
