About Famian Famian or Fam-ane (Lit. Our Language) is spoken by the agricultural folk of E Tahe (The Lands) in the southern plain. Famian has around 3 million speakers and contains two main dialects.
Their land is hilly and temperate allowing the perfect conditions for many a farmer to set up shop and with many valleys and streams allowing commerce to be relatively safe and efficient.
The language is one branch of the Mata-sandar group of languages which have found themselves spread all across the southern half of the continent although many a speaker would deny any linguistic relation to the other speakers of Mata-Sandar languages.
Famian has not been affected too much by its neighbours, having borrowed very little from them, since AE Tahe has stood against many an invading foes throughout history.
