Fox Islandic is an artlang created as part of an alt-history, in which the Fox Islands in Lake Michigan are settled in the 1740s. Fox Islandic evolved from mainly English and French settlers mixing their languages together throughout this period. Out of the around 83,000 people who live in the Fox Islands in this alternate history, around 71,000 of them speak Fox Islandic natively at home, while another 10,000 speak it as a second language.
