About Auin
This is my newest artlang, started 1 June, 2018. I consider it an artlang because I designed it to look and sound pretty. It has a phonology simalar to english exept I made my rhotic the Alveolar trill and I have /x/. As English is my native language and as of this point I have graduated Latin I my exposier to language is limited so English is my main insperation for the grammar even though I try and make it unique. The writing system is in triangles with line patterns in the triangles representing sounds. The triangles then either form rhobouses or hexagons depending on the situation. A bit conveluted but it does work. It works like a featural alphabet in the sense that all words are writen phoneticly. As an example, the autynym is Isteni and is pronounced /isˈtenˈi/. I am currently working on a typeface that can be actually be used and I hope I can make it work soon. The people that would suposidly speak this language are the 'Aui' a percecuted group of telekenetic people. Now that I'm typing this it sounds stupid but is a backstory I have wanted to use for a long time now.
