About An Hour A fusional–agglutinative1 language spoken by hunter-gatherers in some forest on some conworld I'll probably never get around to making. So basically like all of my other languages.

Features include
  • Classifier verbs – the verb phrase is composed of a classifying verb and a lexical verb. The classifying verb belongs to a small, closed set of semantically underspecified verbs and bears a majority of inflectional formatives. The classifying verb procliticises to the lexical verb, which provides most of the semantic content.
  • A developed system of tense and aspect markers with some fun semantically non-compositional forms.
  • A really defective case paradigm, where the major definiteness-like contrast is specificity and the rules for what forms appear where have been so muddied that I'm basically making them up on the fly.
  • [ŋ͡m]

1 To be specific, it's concatenative, polyexponential, and fairly synthetic.
