About Iáthi
This conlang has changed substantially since I initially began putting it on CWS, so much of the lexicon here is out of date. Work to update it will be forthcoming.
Language family relationships
[view] About LhubanSpoken on the continent Kaslota of the planet Aysling, the Lhuban family of languages is descended from Sankiten, the language of the ancient trade empire Mura Lhubace. It consists of at least three languages: Iathi, Vaseyka, and Throlyen.
[edit] [view] Marúnétä (Marunaean)This is the dialect spoken in most of the northeastern regions of Se Nil é Λúbace. It is also considered the prestige dialect, however it is no longer the most widely spoken.
Marúnétä retains a more archaic phonology than Talamatä, continuing to distinguish labiodental and uvular sounds lost in Talamatä. The grammar is nearly the same however.

[edit] [view] Talamatä (Talaman)This is the dialect spoken in most of the southwestern regions of Se Nil é Λúbace. It is the most widely spoken dialect nowadays, though it is still not the prestige dialect.
Talamatä has a simplified phonology compared to Marúnétä, no longer distinguishing labiodental and uvular sounds retained in Marúnétä. The grammar is nearly the same however.
