Irigese (/ɪrə'gi:z/; Irigese: Asana Irik, Snake Script: ^asana i`rik') is a Kolgaric language spoken in Kolgar Archipelago, South Balat, and officially in  Irigland Chiefdoms (now Irigland Province). Current census predicts that this language is spoken by 7 million people in Irigland and more than 10 million total worldwide.

Before Irigland (and subsequently the Triarchy of South Balat) was annexed into the Zentian Empire, Irigese was written in a script called the Snake Script. Since then, Irigese is written in Standardized Zentian Alphabet. This page will use the original Snake Script for cultural preservation.

Like other Kolgaric languages, this language emphasizes one's age, class, or rank rather than gender, with multiple words for the pronoun 'I' depending on who the speaker referring themself to as an example ('waru' (waru) to younger or lower ranked individuals and 'wariň' (wariň') to older and higher ranked ones), and without separate words for Kings and Queens, for example. Rather, the Irigs only have the word 'ras' (ras'), for 'monarch' and 'siras' (siras') or 'sisinna ras' (sisin'na ras') for 'consort' (lit. monarch's spouse).
