About Danshali
banço, danshalino jowisutov

Welcome to the Danshali page

The language of the elements, full of genders, cases, and mad verbs.

Danshali is the language spoken in the country of Danshapu. Danshapu is an archipelago inhabited by a shamanistic society. This society's devotion to the elements can be felt in their language, which has 18 noun classes based on the elements they praise. This began as a sily idea, but in time, after many reworks, Danshali has ascended to become a genuinely interesting language, and my favourite to ever work on.

Click >>HERE<< for a more in-depth explanation of the 18 noun classes, their characteristics and interactions.

Other characteristics:
-Strongly Head final
-No verb tense
-Loads of cases (more still to be added)
-Verb conjugations agglutinating up to insanity
-Poly-personal agreement based on noun class
-Base 12 numbers
-NOM - ACC (With both marked)
