About Kabet
Harsh winds constantly blow on Kabet's speakers meaning that they need to ensure that they are heard over its endless howling. The wind of their valley is of religious significance to those within the valley. The people have not remained untouched but they have been left alone as they were never of any strategic or military importance to empires or colonial nations. They are the only inhabitants of the valley and for an impressive distance beyond it. They live on a minute and isolated island meaning that there are many theories as to how they arrived there though there are no clear DNA links to other groups since they are so mixed. Due to the winds they have no need for trading as they are very self sufficient though they do accept tourists so long as they are respectful. The valley is populated by many small towns and one large building which acts as their capital city. There are some who live outside of the valley though not very far from it as trade with those in the valley is important to allow their continued existence.
