About Kjonoh
Kjonoh is an isolate spoken in the Tsoyagim forests. It is one of the only two languages in the north that are not part of the Akali-Emesian family. The speakers of Kjonoh are largely hunter-gatherers, and concentrated in one particularly mountainous region of the forests, known as the Kyonim. The Kjonoh and the Kyunati come from the same root culture and get along well; both used to speak an ancestor of Kjonoh, but the Kyunati ended up changing their language for Pasati, which they then adapted to fit their own needs. Due to this shared ancestry and culture, the Kyunati are the only Akali-Emesian group that the Kjonoh people are willing to interact with peacefully.
