About Mingla Mingla is spoken in the country of Mingle, and is a synthetic language.

-tonal language (mid tone, falling tone, high tone, rising tone)
-verbs are not inflected
-grammatical cases
-no articles
-adjectives are inflected according to cases
-reduplication to form plural(most of the time plural is not necessary)
-moderate (cvc max) syllable structure(does not necessarily apply to thai loan words)
-modal verbs come last

In informal speech, the accusative case is not used and most cases are omitted when insulting. The alveolar flap may turn into an alveolar trill and vowels may change in informal speech. Swear words are listed in the dictionary of the standard language, but is only used in dialects. (and 90% of the swears are from cantonese because I love the swears of my native lang)

[edit] [view] Mìnglâwpò (Central Mingla)It's spoken by the majority of the people in Mingle, and serves as a lingua franca between other dialects. It is essentially identical to the standard language in formal speech, but in informal speech, more thai loan words, aspirated consonants, sound simplifications and additional tones(for pronouncing thai loans correctly) are added.
[edit] [view] Minglapá (Forest Mingla)The people living all over the forests of Mingla spoke this dialect, some consider it another language, but the dialect is the least intelligible with the standard langauge. It has removed nearly all of the thai loans, other than those that are of frequent use. It lacks cases and has a strict SVO order.
[edit] [view] Minglãopo (West Mingla)It is spoken in the western region of Mingle, and it's largely intelligible with the standard language in informal speech. It has an additional tone and distinguishes aspirated consonants with plain consonants further. It retains many khmer and vietnamese loans that used to exist in the standard language
