Language type A posteriori
Species Avian
About Nghili Nghili is a language of avian people, somehow trying to combine the animalistic tweets and caws with human language.

Inspiration:The harsh and rolling /r/ in the phonetic inventory are inspired by the “craw” of crows. Popping and stop sounds pair really well with them to create interesting sound signature.

Softer sounds like /m/, /n/, /l/, give a soft, melodic flare that complements the harsher sounds, and fits well to represent the softness of a bird’s song.

Although hissing sounds are not too uncommon in the bird world, this language does not have them. They didn’t fit my vision for the language as of now, but as the conlang develops they might be added in moderation.

Using The whistles: Whistles are neither vowels nor consonants, and they are always a full syllable in in of itself. Whistles are mostly used at the end of a word and always as a syllable themselves
~ represents a ordinary whistle.
Ç represents a lip tweet

Rolling vowels are a Voiceless, rolling, growling sound made at the back of the throat, combined with the mouth shape of a standard vowel. A rolling vowel is transformed into a trilling vowel when Voiced. They’re always high pitched.

This language was created for my own enjoyment and it’s still in developmental hell. Dictionary is being currently built and expanded.
