About Nethian
Nethian (Nethgaer) is a language spoken on the western fringes of the Zekharian Empire, primarily in the province of Erath. It is related to Zekharian ("Tegaer") and Sevari ("Swygaer"). Once more widespread, Nethian has been reduced to a provincial language as the Empire has tightened its grip on the region and spread Zekharian as the language of government and commerce. In Erath's capital, Fyr ad-Kenbur, one is as likely to hear one language spoken as the other.
