About Ngutanese
Welcome to Ngutanese (Ngutāyai)!
Ngutanese (natively: Ngutāyai, pronunciation: [ŋuˈtaː.jai̯]) is a conlang inspired on Austronesian languages (specifically, Polynesian and Filipino ones) spoken in Ngutan on Sahar.
Its features include:
• Austronesian alignment;
• length distinction on all vowels;
• mainly CV syllables;
• solar and lunar noun classes/genders;
• obligatory evidentiality marking;
• six copulas (lol)
• no laterals;
• aspectual distinction replaces tense distinction on verbs;
• verb–subject–object order (VSO);
• rhinoglottophillia lol;
• and many more I think.
I hope you like it. I don't really have much else to write here.
