About Motau
Motau is an ancestral tonal language once spoken by a nation of alien pecorans. Over time, it diverged into a 'Royal' Dialect, spoken in the palaces, and the common dialect known as Notau, which is spoken by the peasants scattered across the mountain range.

Additional NotesPecorans don't have fingers, and peasants don't have the luxury of education. The speakers of Motau are virtually all illiterate, and consequently they didn't have an orthography system.
Ignore the distribution; it's skewed because I started copying my own lexicon into the one here and then decided that maintaining two dictionaries is too much effort.
