About Erdköl
Erþköl belogs to the Alpic language family. It is an agglutinative language with many fusional elements.
Erþköl consonant phonology is fairly simple. The moderately small consonant paradigm features only voiceless plosives, small amount of fricatives in voiceless-voiced-pairs and a small number of other sounds.
When it comes to vowels, things are going to get more complicated. Erþköl has 11 so called cardinal vowels, that have five allophones each. The used allophone varies in accordance with the other vowels in the word. Stressed vowels are long or diphthongs, unstressed vowels reduced or completely silent.
Erþköl has three grammatical numbers, three grammatical genders, 8 cases and a nominal conjugation system. Nominal conjugations are used to convey meanings like "to be", "to become" and "to belong to". Inflectional endings can change the stressed syllable in the word. Combined to the fact that there are also multiple stems in Erþköl, the words can get almost unrecognisable forms when inflected and conjugated.
