About Standard Norel A language designed for a fantasy world-building project. It is spoken by a vaguely avian species inspired by various flightless birds.

It uses a base-8 counting system due to this species only having eight digits and uses different first-person pronouns based on the speaker's caste. It's kinship terms are difficult to translate due to a combination of biological differences with humans (and most other species in the setting...) and cultural idiosyncrasies.
