About Easy Language Auxlang based off what I find intuitive. While grammar and phonology are designed to accommodate the largest proportion of the world's population while staying reasonable, some of the words are a priori and others are based on words in languages with many speakers.

Design principles:
-Simple is better than complicated
-Intuitive is better than simple
-Not so simple that it overly limits expressive power
-Morphology should be kept to a minimum (only a handful of bound derivational morphemes)
-Compound words should have hyphens (-) between components
-Grammatical words should be kept to a minimum
-Words should be memorable: compounds and iconicity help learners
-Syntactic embedding should be limited to encourage parseability
-The goal of the language is to allow people to communicate pragmatically, with minimal learning time until proficiency. While sentences in this language may not be elegant and words may not have subtleties, speakers can easily and clearly communicate what they need to in context.

Phonotactics: (C)V(n), only clusters within word are mp,mb,nt,nd,nch,nk,ng. No single phonology, as sounds can be pronounced many ways to accommodate speakers of many languages.

Grammar sketch:
demonstrative numeral pronominal.possessive noun (ko adjective) (ko possessor)
SVO
one preposition na
fluid parts of speech
no relative clauses, little embedding
null-copula

The major challenge of learning this language is not words, or morphology, or syntax, but instead learning how to simplify English sentences as much as possible without losing meaning. From there, mapping the simplified sentences to olo-cha ko basi ones is simple.
