About Old Retenian
Old Retenian (or Amarenuese) is the ancestor of
Taurayan.
It was spoken in the central plain of Retenia between Nimatara, Mitari and Nara rivers between 1500 BC and 800 BC.
The morphology of Old Retenian was at the beginning strongly fusional but became more analytic at the end.
Old retenian was the official language of Amarenu kingdom. This kingdom was founded by Queen Amaradakhta in 1392 BC and will rule the central plain of Retenia ("great plain") and South-East Retenia untill the falls of Amarenu dynasty under the rule of King Dayarsin VI in 971 BC when Dunaris leaded by Ulkurash the great destroyed Amedura, the capital.
