About Proto-Reckolio-azatorian
Proto-reckolio-azatorian was a language spoken from around 1000 to 600 BC, and, as its name suggests, is the reconstructed common ancestor of reckolian and azatorian. It features a very complex conjugation system as well as many noun cases, including a remarkable nominative-accusative alignement with a marked nominative (which lead to the reckolian ergative alignment through the drop of the mark when there is no ambiguity), as well as a total absence of copulae, which carried on in both reckolian and azatorian (athough the latter went over this problem by creating adjectival verbs).
