About Proto Retenian
Proto Retenian is the ancestor of
Old Retenian,
Southern Retenic and
Dunari. It was spoken in South-East Retenia and North of Iberian peninsula between 2200 BC and 1800 BC. Maybe the area where this language was spoken was more extended and contained also south-west of France and the center of Retenia.
An important characteristic of Proto Retenian is the loose of Dual form.
But Proto Retenian maintain Animate/Inanimate distinction and don't make the distinction between masculine and féminine.
