About Patanjan
A 2000 year old cousing of Tnaaq, unnafected by the many changes of the former. Formerly spoken on the central west coast of Nagu and later as a religious language. Now it is practically extinct.
Interesting facts:
*It has preferential OVS word order, split ergativity and agglutinative morphology.
*Nouns have little inflection or number marking. There are 8 noun classes, and every class has a set of case prefixes that also show posession.
*Verbs inflect for subject and object, tense and aspect. There are 3 distinctions in past tense and 2 futures.
