About Proto-Zalintang
Proto-Zalintang is the ancestral proto-language of the Zalintang language family. Though it is named for the Lintang- a massive valley between two mountain ranges, east of the Akate- and was once thought to have originated there, most now agree that it actually originated a little south of the Akate.
