Syllable StructureThe most difficult part of Classical Qenqit' phonology is its syllable structure, which is CCVCC (maybe?). It might seem simple, but the vowel can actually be also a sillabic consonant among /m/, /n/, /l/ and /r/. These sounds are syllabic only when between two consonants or between a consonant and a word boundary. This phonotactics may lead to some pretty umpronounceable words like "kltn" (which, despite its complexity, means "to simplify") that do not have any vowel. Also, unlike the other languages of the same family, it has geminates, and they are also allowed at the beginning or at the end if a word, like in "tniff" ("to drink").
