About Vanisian The first vulgar language to achieve official status in one of the several post-imperial states. Derived from late Muscovian, its parent's vast agglutinative grammar reduced to fusional, leaving only two cases (nominative and a general oblique for direct and indirect objects) and giving new definite articles and prepositions.
It borrows many words from neighbouring Tangwata'iili dialects, such as rea "king" (from rhe'a, great chief) and tanva "dialect" (from tangwa, tongue), as well as from other north-muscovian languages like Cramo or Farmian (cfr. plamu "calendar" from the concept of cyclic time typical of farmian beliefs. The word itself is a cognate of Qirmu felmu "round").

[view] About EasternA family that includes most of the languages of eastern Man.
[edit] [view] Vansove (Vanisovian)It is the dialect of the capital of the kingdom of Vanis, but not the standard adopted by the country. Main differences are:

- t͡ʃ, d͡ʒ changed to ʃ and ʒ;
- q always softened to /k/;
- hard r;
- Muscovian /ts/ and /st/ are conserved; thus standard same > VNS Tsame and nori > norist;
- intrusive consonats to simplify pronunciation: qumre > kunvre;

It shows many more borrowings from Tangwata'iili, especially in slangs and everyday life terms. Ex: ito 'home' from 'ütöö instead of 'dimmuzetu'.
