About Rookim A language of Kundhya planet, spoken in Rookimbeen, a country in the Northern hemisphere that straddles the Southwestern part of the Nət Island, the entire Veenalaan Island, and the northern tip of the Zhaa continent. Rookim people are fierce, adventurous sea-faring people with a tad more violent streak compared to other Kundhya ethnicities (but still quite non-violent compared to Earth standard). Through their two waves of historical empire expansion on the Zhaa continent and extensive trade with farther away countries (especially with the Rann people), Rookim both absorbs and provides a large number of loanwords from/into other languages: the indepence of many territories after the empire expansion also led to the origin of several daughter languages. The Rookim writing system (an alphabet/abjad with three basic forms) has widespread use over the world, and also the basis of several writing systems developed to write other languages.

Grammatical specifications:
More than two mobes are allowed per complete sentence/clause, with the existence of one main mobe compulsory. Both mobes and sesses are productive, and inflect according to different paradigms.
Head-first in phrases, head-final in compounds. Sentence structure is VSO: main mobe is in first position, agent-first. Exhibits double-marking, no copula.
