About Proto-Nycyätli Proto-Nyicyätli is the progenitor of the majority-Kav Nycyätlic languages, spoken in the lands around what they called the Bay of Reżäqäq. Its speakers lived in scattered farming communities cultivating amaranth, taro, bananas and various fruits, keeping pigs, fish and chickens as livestock (often supplemented with wild game - the right for anyone to fish and trap/hunt game in their own or common land was considered sacred) and domesticating terror birds as beasts of burden and mounts.

PNY makes no distinction between adverbs and adjectives, is highly analytic and features base-6 numerals and animacy-based word order.
