About Sangesian
tHutC

Sangesian is the language with the most speakers in my earth-like conworld Astanu, serving as the lingua franca for over a third of the world. It has also become my most developed conlang and has the largest vocabulary of my conlangs.

Here’s a link to the WIP grammar on Google Docs. Always assume in case of contradiction with CWS articles that the Google Doc is the most up-to-date cause I hate writing CWS articles.

Some features:
• small inventory and moderate syllable structure (C)V(C)
• an abjad-like script with syllable blocks
• split-S
• secundative
• mostly analytic
• no genders, limited animacy distinction
• weird pronouns (including a first person pronoun for talking to oneself)
• no adjectives (prepositional phrases for life)
• prepositional phrases act syntactically identically to nouns
• interrogative and relative pro-verbs
• pied-piping with inversion

It's not the size of the inventory that matters, it's what you do with it.
