About Chungganese

"I wish to see a day in my life that my cousins in the west coexist with us in the south and my brothers in the east."
- Rino Hilario Martinez (1770-1852)
Chungganese is one of the many national languages of Qenuga, alongside
Ceralougá,
Liparano and
Hantaamij. It is mainly a posteriori with some a priori elements. Its vocabulary is heavily based on the Spanish-Amorese pidgin, Liparano, and other languages. Chungganese is the standard variation of numerous Chungganese dialects spoken in Qenuga. It also functions as a personal language of mine, wherein I write songs and poems in the language whenever I have the spare time. I also use this language to drive people crazy. Here are some features of Chungganese:

[view] About Italo-AmoreseThese languages are a result of Amorese-speaking people coming into contact with Spanish speakers from Mexico in the 16th century. As the Spanish-Amorese pidgin developed, their language has diverted into what is now Chungganese and Nantuñol.
[view] Rubiice (Rubinian Chungganese)The variant of the Spanish-Amorese creole standardized by a writer in Yarabdig. It is with hot debate as to whether Rubinian is a dialect of Chungganese or a separate language in itself.
