About Stradivarian
Stradivarian is the name of two things: a dead language, and a group of three closely realated languages. The "Standard" form here uses the classical pronunciation, which is not actually used.
The three languages are:
Ecclesiastical stradivarian, which is the formal literary and religious form of the language. Its pronounciation varies, and is not entirely agreed upon by any linguists. It is used by the upper classes when speaking to the lower classes, and the lower classes when speaking to the other classes, and in religion.
The Lords' Tongue, which is the standard language used by the upper classes, some of their servants, and in part by the military. It is usually informally written, though there are several important texts, and it has a few standards and mild dialectal variation. It is forbidden for any members of the lower classes to speak it.
The Peasants' Tongue, which is an assortment of different dialects used by the lower classes. The lower classes speak these languages, and they may only speak their own language or Ecclesiastical Stradivarian.

[edit] [view] cidui stradivariu (Ecclesiastical Stradivarian)Ecclesiastical Stradivarian is used in all church related matters, and as a means of communication between the upper and lower classes, given that the lower classes are forbidden to speak The Lords' Tongue, and it is frowned upon for a member of the upper class to speak The Peasants' Tongue. Its pronunciation varies wildly, so the given pronunciation is not fully accurate.
