About Classical Seesh
An artistic language with naturalism as a goal. The concept started out with the phonology and branched out from there. Classical Seesh is, as the name would suggest, the most pure Seeshite language because of a lack of Tejae influence and the lack of consonants articulated past the alveolar ridge. The language is only spoken on formal occasions, though it's often taught as a second language and is understood on a basic level by most speakers.
Some grammar highlights include:
-A lack of morphemes that aren't useable words
- A plural-paucal-singular distinction
- A complex derivational system which allows for little to no noun declination to describe meaning, instead adding complexity and specificity by just affixing more words.
- The lack of both the definite and indefinite articles ('a' and 'the')
- Phonemic stress (volume)

[view] About SeeshiteSpoken in Baltōsr, Dēnt-Lōōnmil, and Stēērat, Seeshite has two major dialects, the "Baltōmo" dialect spoken exclusively in Baltōsr; and the Stā'ev dialects spoken in Stēērat and Dēnt-Lōōnmil. The defining characteristics include a verb-centric lexico...
[edit] [view] Baltōmo (Baltomic Seesh)Spoken in the mountainous Baltōsr region; the system evolved over years of isolation from developments both technological, spiritual and linguistic. It's seen as a relic of the past but still very understandable, even to native speakers of Dēnt-Lōōnmil & people who've learned a Seeshite language as their second language. It's a bit like how the English of Shakespeare would sound to someone in Miami.
[edit] [view] Seesh-Ja'e (Dentlic Seesh )A quickly-spoken dialect that sounds very intimidating to new learners. It's unique for its interaction and mixing with Tejae, via merchants, who helped to take writing from a record-keeping and land-ownership role into an academic/intellectual function. The orthography is very different. Baltomic and Classical Seesh is carved, often in wood, and often favors curves, while Dentlic Seesh is written on paper, and has a commonly used cursive hand.
