About Standard Ibero-Romance
Standard Ibero-Romance is the recreation and integration of the modern Iberian languages and languages that were influenced by Ibero-Romance. These include, Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Galician, and Aragonese. It is called standardized because most of its words are meant to highlight words of Latin and Greek origin and are made to resemble Modern Standard Italian and the Gallo-Italic languages. Phonologically, it is made to resemble Classical Latin, not Ecclesiastical Latin, and morphosyntactically functions much the same way Modern Standard Italian does, despite some orthographical differences.
