About Sowar
Sowar is yet another reincarnation of a project I've been messing around with.
*It is a mostly analytic language, with little inflection.
*Main word order is OVS, but SV can appear with some intransitive verbs. It tends to be head marking and head final.
*There are two cases for nouns and three for pronouns. They don't have number or gender inflection, but require them to appear in verb agreement clitics.
*Adjectives are not inflected to agree with the noun. They have different forms for comparatives.
*Verbs may reduplicate to show pluractionality. There also are suppletive forms. There is a special form for the verb if it is in a subordinate clause.
*Aspect, mode and evidentiality are marked with serial and auxiliary verb constructions.
*There are two sets of subject clitics, one used for declarative sentences and the other one for interrogatives. They also appear at different sides of the inflected verb of the clause. There are different forms for singular and plural, and third persons show a 3-way gender distinction.
