About Sylonian
Sylonian is a small project I’m making. It is made to sound like French, German, and English, while still not even doing so. Some of it’s words are derived from English and German but the majority of them are unique. This is my first language actually diving deep into derivates, so bear with me!
Free WO, but SVO and SOV are used mainly.
CV, CVC, CVVC, VCV, VCCV are the main SS but RARELY others will be used.
Male and Female gendered words. Neuter gendered words are just the same without F/M at the end.
Gendered words have been removed since I never use them.
This is a small language for a ConWorld I’m making, the language’s name (Sóronan (No conscript set up)) literally means “Mainland Talk” in old Sylonian. It’s the main language spoken in the ConWorld. I will continue to expand the language as this is my main focus as of right now.
Most of the words are derived from others, but rarely some are unique. Simple words like “to” and “a” are not derived, for example, but sometimes some larger words can be too.

[edit] [view] Covan Sólonan (Civian Sylonian)North Sylonian (literally meaning “Up Sylonian”) is spoken by people in the northern part of Sylonian. It isn’t extremely different but due to the two (North and the rest of Sylonian) being split from each other the language developed different. Around ~150,000 people speak this dialect of Sylonian, though, as the northernmost part of Sylonian isn’t as populated as the rest.
