About Seiyandt
a language i'm developing for my book, "unjust.", about a mage framed for treason and murder.
lore stuff
this is what all spells, spellbooks, and ancient texts are written in.
in veistaire, only the older generation of the kingdom and mages can speak seiyandt; however there are other regions who speak seiyant more than the common language (which is basically english)
when used in normal books and basic speech, seiyandt is written with the latin/common alphabet. when related to magic, it's written in seiyantic rune.
technical stuffs
inspired by many romance languages and standard latin!
SVO
mainly head initial
mainly gender neutral (there are words for male, female, wife, husband, etc.)
my goal is to have fairly simple to understand grammar because although i do want this to be a functional language, i started developing seiyandt for my book.
some parts of it are more unnatural, and that's fine! it makes me happy, so what more could it need?
