About Tescian A language descended from the Texan dialect of English spoken two-thousand years after an apocalyptic event. It is a very analytical language, but not to the point of being isolating.

Major phonetic developments include a major vowel shift concerning all front vowels (and some back ones) before voiced consonants; a later innovation includes the loss of voiced stops. This means the distinction between the modern cognates of "bed" and "bet" are distinguished by the vowel(s), not the consonants, with the cognates being vejet and vet, respectively. Tescian also developed clear-creaky vowel distinction, with the creakiness being residual of the lost /h/ and /Ɂn̩/ of Texan English, examples: ejel ([ˈɛjɛl] "sharp turn") vs. èjel ([ˈɛ̰jɛl], Hell).
